In what currency can I fund and withdraw for Cash+ Flexi, and any associated charges?

Available Currencies

Funds can be deposited or withdrawn in either Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) or United States Dollars (USD).

 

USD Transactions

  • Deposits and Withdrawals via HSBC Bank Accounts in Hong Kong: Currently, no fees are charged for funding or withdrawing funds through an HSBC bank account in Hong Kong.

  • Deposits from Non-HSBC Banks: Please be aware that the originating bank may impose a fee for the transaction.

  • Withdrawals to Non-HSBC Bank Accounts: If the withdrawal is processed through the local clearing platform in Hong Kong (CHATS) via Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), HSBC may charge a fee of HKD 55 for the outgoing payment. This fee is determined by HSBC and is subject to change. Customers are responsible for covering this fee.

HKD Transactions

  • Deposits and Withdrawals: As of the current date, no fees are applied for funding or withdrawing to a Hong Kong bank account.

  • Currency Conversion: As our portfolios are denominated in USD, any funds deposited in HKD will be converted to USD prior to investment. While retail investors typically incur currency conversion fees of 0.30% or higher when converting through banks, Syfe customers benefit from a significantly lower conversion fee.

Additional Information

Syfe does not impose any additional fees for funding, withdrawals, or account closure. Customers may initiate funding or withdrawal requests to or from any of their portfolios at their discretion.
