For the same term, could the investment duration be different?

The exact number of days your investment earns returns depends on your investment start date and whether the maturity date falls on a business day.

Here’s how it works:

  • Cash+ Fixed follows calendar months for term calculation (e.g., 6 months from the investment date).
  • If the maturity date falls on a non-business day (e.g., weekend or public holiday), your investment will mature on the next business day.
  • This can result in a slight variation in the total number of days your funds are invested.

📌 Example:

If you invest on 8 March 2024 for a 6-month term:

  • Maturity date: 8 September 2024 (Sunday)

  • Actual maturity: 9 September 2024 (Monday)

  • Total duration: 185 days

If another person invests on 12 March 2024 for the same term:

  • Maturity date: 12 September 2024 (Thursday)

  • Total duration: 184 days

Your investment will earn returns based on the actual number of days between the start and maturity date.
