Creating an account can be easily done in a few minutes following the steps below:

Option 1: Verification via iAM Smart

1. Create an account here or download the Syfe App and select your account region. 
2. Select “Verify Instantly” to save time on identity verification and form filling with iAM Smart. Please
3. ensure you have the iAM Smart App installed. 
4. Complete risk assessment. 
5. Choose an investment portfolio. Note that this decision is not finalised and allocation can be amended before deposit. 
6. Make an online bank deposit from a Hong Kong bank account in your name and start your investments!

Option 2: Verification Manually 

1. Create an account here or download the Syfe App and select your account region. 
2. Select “Verify Manually” to fill in the account opening forms. 

3. Upload your identification documents:

   For Hong Kong Citizens or Permanent Residents: A copy of your ID (front and back  
   For Foreign Nationals: A copy of your Passport

4. Complete risk assessment. 
5. Choose an investment portfolio. Note that this decision is not finalised and allocation can be amended before deposit. 
6. Make an online bank deposit of at least HK$10,000, or US$1,300 from a Hong Kong bank account in your name. This is required per the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) regulations. 

*Supporting documents should not be more than 3 months old from the date that it is received by Syfe. 

**Combinations starting with "C", "R" or "U" may be required to provide a copy of your passport
