How do I withdraw from Cash Balance?

You can withdraw the money in your Cash Balance to your linked bank account at any time.

  1. Log in to the Syfe app.
  2. Select "Cash Balance".
  3. Select "Transfer".
  4. Select "Bank account".
  5. Select your destination bank account.
  6. Select the currency you want to withdraw (HKD or USD).
  7. Enter the amount, or tap "MAX" for the full balance.
  8. Tap "Continue" to confirm.

Note

  • Check before you confirm. A withdrawal from your Cash Balance to your bank cannot be cancelled once confirmed, so make sure the bank account, currency, and amount are correct. 
  • Processing Time. Requests before 3:00 PM HKT on a business day are processed that day; later, or on weekends and public holidays, the next business day. Funds then typically reach your bank within 1 business day. 
  • Fees for USD Withdrawals: Syfe does not charge a withdrawal fee. If you withdraw USD to a non-HSBC bank account, the bank may charge around HKD 55.
  • Currency Matching: Withdraw in the currency that matches your bank account (HKD to an HKD account, USD to a USD account). A mismatch can cause processing delays.
