Can I make multiple deposits in one day? How do I set the allocations?

Yes, you can make more than one transfer in the same currency on the same day. However, how you set up your transfer plan depends on when the transfers are made.

  •  
    • Cut-off time : 9AM on a working day

 

Scenario 1: Multiple transfers in the same currency made after cut-off time

If all your transfers are made after the cut-off time, they will be processed together. You would need to update your transfer plan so that it correctly reflects the allocation across all the incoming funding amounts. What to do in your transfer plan:

  1. Log in to the Syfe App
  2. Tap “Add Funds”
  3. Choose your currency (HKD or USD)
  4. Enter the total amount you’ve transferred that day
  5. Allocate the funds by percentage across your selected portfolios
  6. Tap “Transfer” to confirm

Example:

  •  
    • 10AM: Transfer HKD$10,000 → Portfolio A
    • 2PM: Transfer HKD$20,000 → Portfolio B
    • Total: HKD$30,000

At 2PM, while making the second funding instruction, update portfolio allocation to the below:

  •  
    • Portfolio A: 33% (which makes it $10,000 on total $30,000 funding amount)
    • Portfolio B: 67% (which makes it equivalent to $20,000 on total $30,000 funding amount)
      (Note: Decimal points are not accepted—please round to whole numbers.)


Note: If you attempt to edit your transfer plan while a previous transfer is still processing, a popup notification will appear showing your most recent transfer amount. By tapping “Proceed”, your pending and future deposits will follow your latest allocation.

 

Scenario 2: First transfer before the cut-off time

If your first transfer is made before cut off time, it will be processed on the same day. Any transfers made after cut-off will be treated as separate transactions.

Example:

  • 8AM: Transfer #1 HKD$10,000 → Portfolio A (processed same day)
  • 2PM: Transfer #2 HKD$20,000 → Portfolio B
  • 4PM: Transfer #3 HKD$10,000 → Portfolio C

In this case:

  • Transfer #1 will be processed on its own
  • Transfers #2 and #3 should be combined into one transfer plan following the steps in Scenario 1

 

Scenario 3: Multiple transfers in different currencies

You cannot create transfer plans for both HKD and USD on the same day. Please ensure that your transfers are made on separate days if you wish to invest in both currencies.
