You’ll need to set up a transfer plan in order to allocate your deposit.
What is a Transfer Plan?
A transfer plan tells us how you want to allocate your money when you have one or multiple portfolios.
After completing the onboarding process, you can set up the transfer plan to transfer funds into your portfolio.
How to Set Up or Edit Your Transfer Plan?
- Log in to the Syfe App
- Select “Add Funds”
- Select the pencil icon at the top right corner
- Select currency (HKD or USD)
- Enter the amount
- Select “Reset Allocation”
- Allocate the funds by percentage across your selected portfolios, eg., 50% in Cash+ Flexi and 50% in Income+ Pure
- Select “Transfer” to confirm
Note: If you attempt to edit your transfer plan while a previous transfer is still processing, a pop-up notification will appear showing your most recent transfer amount. By tapping “Proceed”, your pending and future deposits will follow your latest allocation.
What do I do if I want to deposit both HKD and USD on the same day?
You cannot create transfer plans for both HKD and USD on the same day. Please ensure that your transfer plans are set up on separate days if you wish to invest in both currencies.
Can I change my transfer plan after submitting?
Yes, if Syfe has not processed your funds, you can continue to edit your transfer plan. Your pending funds and incoming transfer will be split according to the new transfer plan.
However, you cannot edit your transfer plan once Syfe has started to process your deposit. Please contact Syfe as soon as possible for more details.
Why does the popup show up when I try to change my transfer plan?
This happens when a previous transfer is still being processed.
The amount shown reflects your most recent transfer plan edit. By tapping “Proceed”, your pending and future deposits will follow your latest allocation.
Note: Processing typically takes 1 business day, after which you will be able to make changes for future deposits.
