In what currencies can I withdraw funds from my Syfe portfolio?

Syfe Hong Kong supports fund withdrawals in the following currencies:

  • Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)
  • United States Dollar (USD)

When submitting a withdrawal request, you can choose either HKD or USD, depending on your portfolio type. Please ensure the withdrawal currency matches the currency of your selected withdrawal bank account.


Things to Keep in Mind:

  • Currency Matching: Ensure the withdrawal currency matches your bank account’s currency to avoid processing delays.
  • Exchange Rates: If your portfolio is denominated in a different currency than your withdrawal request, Syfe will automatically convert the funds using prevailing market exchange rates at the time of transaction.
    You can enjoy preferential currency conversion spreads of around 0.10%–0.13%, significantly lower than what retail would typically pay (around 0.3%–0.5%) when converting through banks.

  • Bank Charges: While Syfe does not charge withdrawal fees, certain bank-related charges may apply—especially for RTGS transfers or USD withdrawals.
